Buster

Buster was a gift from someone that thought we needed a bob tail, black and white dog. He showed up on my mother-in-law's front porch in 2004. He was a cute little thing that grew up into a cute big thing. He is our "problem" four legged child. If a dog can have ADD, he certainly has it.

I shouldn't have been surprised when I heard a strange noise at 1:00 a.m. this morning. I finally woke up enough to realize someone was in the garbage in the kitchen. I drug my sleepy self out of bed and found Buster with half his body in the overturned garbage can. Someone, my son, had left the pantry door open and BB, as I affectionately call him, had taken advantage of the opportunity to make a mess. I politely, well, not so politely told him to get his behind out and he obeyed. I picked up the garbage and went back to bed. At least I got to enjoy the thunder, lightening, and rain before I went back to sleep.

The Funny Farm

I love the movie "Funny Farm." I can always count on a good laugh when I watch it. I guess that is why I've named my blog after it. I can always count on a good laugh from someone or something on my very own funny farm.

My husband, son, and I live on what some call a "hobby" farm. There are also seven dogs (yes, seven), two cats, and three horses. We did have 11 chickens, but, something decided it needed a very large meal of chicken the other night. It dug into the chicken house and ate every one of our chickens.

There is NEVER a dull moment with so many critters around.
